Colossians 1:13 Isaiah 53:6; Psalms l19: 67,71;Psalms 23: 1-6; Matthew 9:35-38; Matthew 6:33 · Isaiah 53:6 - Our clients have gone astray and the issue is sin. · Psalms 119:67,71 - God is the agent of transition. He gets involved in the details of our life to bring us to Jesus and to conform us to His image. He can use affliction (correction) to do this. · Psalms 23:1-6- Jesus as the Shepherd of Transition  He meets our needs ·  He gives us rest   He leads us in the resolution of inner conflicts   He restores our inner health  He leads us in outward obedience as the "expression of our possession."  · In this society with its death and evil he walks with us through it calming our fears and correcting us with his rod and guiding us with his staff. · In this society full of the enemies of our soul He prepares the way for us in their very presence.  · He honors us and blesses us with his mercy and unconditional love. · We have passed from death to life because goodness and love follows us all the days of our lives.  · We purpose to dwell in God's house (our place in His body) forever. ·  Matthew 9:35-38 · Jesus is the resource with the power to save, heal, deliver, make whole and provide and transition. ·  Jesus goes about the various cities and villages and streets, prisons and jails and halfway houses. · Jesus sees the crowds of prisoners, their families and the victims and their families and has compassion on them because he recognizes that they are harassed and helpless LIKE SHEEP WITHOUT A SHEPHERD. · Then he says to his disciples (THE CHURCH) The harvest is plentiful (many in prison prepared by him for transition from death to life) but the workers are few(FEW 1N THE CHURCH PREPARED TO JOIN HIM IN THE WORK OF CORRECTIONAL SHEPHERDING MINISTRY) · The response of the church is to PETITION THE LORD OF THE HARVEST TO SEND OUT WORKERS (from the church) INTO THE HARVEST FIELD. · Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and ali of these things will be given to you as well.' Philippians 4:19" And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus."
